Office 365 Change - Former Students

This information is being shared with all former (currently unenrolled) students who may have @my.uu.edu accounts, via an email message first dated March 11, 2013. A revised message was sent March 18. Union University Facebook and Twitter messages have also been used.

Please help spread the word to others who may not be aware of this change.

To all former Union University students using @my.uu.edu email accounts,

You will soon permanently lose access to your Union University @my.uu.edu email. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

If you wish to keep any email stored in your @my.uu.edu account, you should move those messages to another account now. If you communicate with anyone using this address, please give them a non-Union email address to use for future communications.

March 18 update:

After the University changes the sign-in page on March 21, if you are having problems signing into your email account, first try changing your password at password.uu.edu. If you are still having problems, call the IT helpdesk at 731-661-HELP.

The university is converting current students' email accounts from Microsoft's Live@Edu services to Microsoft's Office365 services. Microsoft is requiring that all Live@Edu schools make this change.

As a part of this change, it will no longer be feasible to provide former Union students with email accounts. However, you will still have access to your www.skydrive.com file storage account.

  • After we complete the conversion of your account, your SkyDrive password initially will be your current Union password. Union University Information Technology staff will have no ability to reset your SkyDrive password after the conversion. If you plan to use this file storage service after the conversion, go to www.skydrive.com now to be sure that your password-reset email address is not a uu.edu address.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
