Books

The Shepard Center actively collects books dealing with genealogical and local history with a geographical emphasis on the West Tennessee region and the families of our alumni.  Researchers can utilize our online catalog to find the books available in the Center.  All books housed in the Center are non-circulating and have the location code of "Heritage Collection."

University Archives

The University Archives is the repository of the institution's official records.  These records contain information on individuals who were students or staff of the University.  Inquiries about specific persons should be sent to the archivist by e-mailing library@uu.edu

In addition to the University's records the Archives also houses a number of other collections of interest to the family and local historian.  One of the most important of these are the TBC Collection which contain the records of Tennessee Baptist associations and churches in the western region.  This collection is particularly helpful to persons researching Baptist ministers who served in the churches of this area.
