On select Mondays @ 10 am, the Assistant Dean of Students along with the Student Life team will provide 1-hour orientation sessions designed to help minority scholarship recipients and other ethnic minority students be holistically successful at Union University.
TGIFridays are great "get togethers" designed to create a sense of social support to African American and minority students at Union University. With the academic rigor and financial demands placed upon students, it is clear that there has to be an outlet (time of relaxation and enjoyment) whereby students can simply get to know each other better and build a social support network on campus.
Dinner & Dialogue is designed to offer meaningful opportunities to explore understand, and appreciate intercultural competency at Union University and beyond. Student leaders informally gather interested students to dialogue about how to communicate more effectively across racial/ethnic lines.
