About Doc Dawson

Dr. Bryan Dawson received a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of North Texas in 1992.  Before graduate school he worked as an industrial statistician.  He currently serves as professor of mathematics at Union University, a premier Christian college in the south.  Among other accomplishments, Dr. Dawson has published a number of research articles, served as editor of a journal, performed consulting work resulting in a patent application, and authored two books, Supplemental Mathematics for the Curious: Number Theory and Supplemental Mathematics for the Curious: Number Systems.  He also is former webmaster for the Association of Christians in the Mathematical Sciences.

Dr. Dawson's favorite activities and hobbies include spending time with his wife and family, worshipping in a house church, playing golf, pitching muleshoes, telling dumb jokes, and, of course, inventing sports simulation games.
