Blake lives in Jackson, Tenn. where he is an eighth grader at Parkway Middle School. He started playing baseball at age 5 with T-ball. His most memorable year was in '95 when he helped his Dixie Youth team win its league title. He was then chosen for the all-star team that won the state tournament for 13 year-olds and went on to finish second in the world series. In the twelve games of the state tournament and world series he had 14 hits in 28 official at bats with a .588 OBP. In addition to baseball, Blake is also active in soccer and basketball.
