Cody lives in Jackson, Tenn. where he is an eighth grader at Tigrett Middle School. He began playing baseball at age 5 and has played in the Dixie Youth organization since age 9. Cody was selected to the All-Star team for the last five years. In 1994 he helped lead his all-star team to a second place finish in the state tournament. Last year Cody pitched and played second base for his team as they won the state tournament and finished second in the World Series. Cody is an honor student and also enjoys basketball, football, golf, tennis, hunting, and fishing.
