Raleigh lives in Lexington, Tenn. where he is an eighth grader at Beaver School. He began playing baseball at age ten in Little League and was chosen as all-star in '92 and '94. In '95 he played in the Babe Ruth league splitting time between shortstop and catcher. He batted over .400 and then as an all-star he displayed his catching skills by throwing out a total of twelve runners during tournament play. Raleigh is also a standout in other sports, earning all-conference honors in football and starting for the county all-star basketball team. He was recently selected as Most Athletic and Most Popular. He is a Principal's List student and a member of the Honor Club. In addition, he enjoys rabbit and deer hunting.
