All activities will be demonstrated by the teacher before the students begin the learning web. The teacher will be available to provide assistance when needed.

Students will have used Word and PowerPoint with teacher assistance prior to this activity. Students know to save each document as their name by clicking on the disk, entering their name as the file name, and clicking save.

During the two weeks spent working on the learning web, the teacher will read several books about the Underground Railroad and Harriet Tubman.
