Options:
You will visit the
websites provided to you on the reference page. You will decide where you want to visit,
mode of transportation, places to see, things to do, and compare how much
each will cost. These things will be important in later activities. (Analysis)

Expenses:
Using an Excel document, you will create a budget of your full allowance of $5,000 for up to five days of travel. You will break it down into the following categories:
-transportation
-hotel/lodging
-food
-entertainment
-other expenses
You will need to
use the information you gathered from Activity 1. You will need to use 24 font
bold Times New Roman for titles, and 14 font Times New Roman for all other

3-Time Travel:
Using a Word document, you will need
to prepare an itinerary for all days used. It will need to be created
using columns. This would mean using one column per day. You will need to
account for all time spent on trip including travel. You may use graphics to
enhance look. Titles will be in Times New Roman 24 bold font. All other
information will be in Times New Roman 14 font. (Application)

Package:
Using PowerPoint, you will design a slideshow to showcase your
destination. You will build five slides that can be used to illustrate your
chosen place to visit. You will use graphics and text. Be sure to include points
of interest relevant to your trip. (Synthesis)

5-Travel Pie:
Using your budget from Activity 2,
you will make a pie chart. You will convert your totals into percentages
and use construction paper to form pieces of a circle graph to represent the
data. Then you will glue all pieces together to form a graph. Be sure to write the
percentage and what piece it represents on each piece. (Comprehension)

6-Travel Reflection:
Using a word document write a three paragraph reflection on the learning web. You will need to summarize your experience and be sure to include likes, dislikes, and any suggestions you might have. Document will need to be in 12 point times new roman double spaced. (Evaluation)
