Standard:

The student will develop number and operation sense needed to represent numbers and number relationships verbally, symbolically, and graphically to compute fluently and make reasonable estimates in problem solving.

 

Grades 9-12:           

·         The student will understand numbers, ways of representing numbers, relationships among numbers, and number systems.

 

·         Identify and name coins (e.g., penny, nickel, dime, and quarter).

 

·         Count pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters with values up to $10.00.
