Follow the directions below to complete your assignment for Microsoft PowerPoint.

1.  You will complete a PowerPoint presentation on the elements of a plot.  The slides should consist of the following information:

        Slide 1--Title "Elements of a Plot," your name and class period

Slide 2--Exposition

Slide 3--Rising Action

Slide 4--Climax

Slide 5--Falling Action

Slide 6--Resolution

Slide 7--Conflict

Slide 8--Theme

2.  For slides 2 through 6, you should include the name of the element discussed in the slide and the definition of this element.  On these slides, also tell the significance of the elements in the plot of "The Monkey's Paw."

3.  You may design your slides however you wish, including background colors, layouts, transitions, etc.

4.  Save your presentation to a floppy disk.  Use your last name as the file name.

5.  Print your presentation in handout format with three slides per page.
