Introduction

This activity is designed to promote the safe and responsible use of ceramic materials and their techniques through an understanding of the unique properties of ceramics, particularly those which could be dangerous.  To successfully complete the activity the students will investigate and evaluate safe ceramic processes as well as, research a ceramic artist, assess the characteristics of the artist's work,  and create a presentation which conveys the artist's distinct style.
