The student will explore various cultures in Art.

In groups of three, the student will select a design that is similar to the assigned culture. After the design is created the students will draw the design on the linoleum cut, carve the design out, and paint the design. After the painting each cut will be transferred to construction paper.

When the linoleum cut is finished, the group will complete a short presentation on the assigned culture, using POWER POINT or MICROSOFT WORD. The student will retrieve all information from the provided websites.( DO NOT PLAGIARIZE INFORMATION --MAKE SURE YOU PARAPHRASE.)

THE BRAIN TEASER:

-During the presentation you will not reveal the art category; only give characteristics of the art from the assigned culture. Make sure you refrain from saying the culture during the presentation. Each group must figure out which culture is being presented by the description given during the presentation.

BLOOM'S TAXONOMY
Various levels of Bloom's taxonomy were used when creating the learning web. Levels were synthesis, applications, knowledge and comprehension.
