Dr. Deschenes is a clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience. He received his doctorate from Biola University in California and undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Deschenes received special training in Christian counseling while at Biola University. He has previously worked at Pathways in Jackson.

Dr. Deschenes is married with two children and attends West Jackson Baptist Church. He enjoys family time, sports, canoeing, camping and woodworking.

Tamarin Huelin, MS

Tamarin Huelin has 16 years of counseling experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She grew up in North Carolina and completed her undergraduate degree in Recreation Therapy at the University of North Carolina. Tamarin went on to earn a Masters in counseling from Georgia State University in Atlanta and a diploma in Christian Counseling from the Psychological Studies Institute (now Richmont University). She practiced counseling in Atlanta, Chicago, and Indiana before coming to Union.

Tamarin is married and has two sons. She enjoys being a wife and mother, running, reading, art, picking produce at local farms, and canning.
