How can you be involved?
There are two ways to become
involved in the Arboretum.
- The
first is to adopt an existing tree
on campus, which can be done
"in honor of" or "in memory of"
a special person/people in your
life. This adoption will have
several features:
- Selection of tree from our list of trees. Adoption of one of these trees will be at the $500 (Tax-Deductible Portion: $500) level. These include existing trees on campus, or, eventually, new trees to be planted.
- Opportunity to commemorate the tree "in honor of" or "in memory of" the person/people of your choice.
- The selection of a Bible verse or quotation from one of the "heroes of the Christian Intellectual Tradition" to be placed on the sign.
- Those adopting a tree will receive a framed print of an artist's rendering of the Arboretum.
- The second way you can
become involved is to become a
"Friend of the Union University
Arboretum." This involves
yearly ongoing participation
with the Arboretum. Different
levels (with annual giving
amounts) include:
- The "Cedar" level = $50 (Tax-Deductible Portion: $50)
- The "Sycamore" level = $25 (Tax-Deductible Portion: $25)
