Posted Jun 9, 2010

Union University hosted the biannual meeting of Christians in Political Science (CPS) at the Stephen Olford Center in Germantown from June 3-5. The CPS gathering brings together political scientists from all over the country to talk about political science, worship together, and discuss faith and politics. This years conference had over 30 participants and included panels on Christians in Secular Academy and Christians in the Christian Academy where participants discussed the benefits and pitfalls of working in either place. There were also panels on Religion and the American Founding, Theology and Philosophy in Dialogue, The Future of Evangelical Politics, Faith and Policy, and other panels.
