Becoming a Preceptor
The Union University College of Pharmacy is always seeking motivated and innovative pharmacists who are interested in serving as a Clinical Preceptors and training the next generation of pharmacists.
ACPE requires that the Office of Experiential Education maintains information about each preceptor. Potential preceptors must submit the following:
- A signed Preceptor Commitment Letter. The states that you want to serve as a preceptor. Use this document or you can write a more personal letter if you prefer.
- A signed Letter of Support. This document is required to show that administration and management is supportive of providing education to student pharmacists. This document should be signed by a supervisor of your choice.
- A copy of your current resume or curriculum vitae
- A copy of your current pharmacist license
- A completed Preceptor Information Form.
- A completed rotation description.
- A signed statement showing you have viewed the online Preceptor Orientation Videos
