Christian Ministry and Missions
The Christian Ministry and Missions major in the School of Theology and Missions prepares a student for practical ministries in four tracks: pastoral, missions, youth and general. The general track is designed specifically for the student who senses God's calling into a church-related ministry but is uncertain as to a specific area. While all four tracks offer flexibility according to the student's interest, the General Track includes 15 hours of electives to be chosen from course offerings in Ministry and Missions, Biblical Studies/Languages and Theological Studies. Many of the courses offered in the Ministry and Missions major are taught by professors with years of practical ministry experience. All of the courses are taught by professors devoted to the church, with a desire to prepare students for Kingdom building.
The Christian Ministry and Missions major includes an 18-hour core common to most majors in the School of Theology and Missions. In addition to the core, majors will choose from one of the four tracks in pursuit of a degree that will well-prepare the graduate for church-related ministry. Majoring in Christian Ministry and Missions is a wise choice for students sensing God's call to the pastorate, missions, youth or other church-related ministry.
