American Sign Language
Union offers 2 semesters of American Sign Language designed for beginning and intermediate students. If you would like more information, please contact Professor Irene Schock.
This course is an introduction to American Sign Language, the 3rd mostly widely used language in the U.S. This course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of ASL. This course will provide you with survival level conversational skills in signing. This course is offered during the Fall Semester. This course is a follow-up to Beginning American Sign Language 1. Greek, Hebrew, and Latin
STM's Biblical Studies/Languages major serves to prepare students for a lifetime of interpreting the Bible for the sake of others. The study of Greek and Hebrew is required of all Biblical Studies/Languages majors since the knowledge of Greek and Hebrew significantly facilitates the analysis and comprehension of the Bible. Minors are also offered in Ancient Languages and Biblical Languages.
