ASHP-SSHP
The Union University School of Pharmacy Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP) has been recognized by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) as an example of SSHP Best Practices. Our chapter will be featured on the ASHP website as a "Student Society Spotlight." Through this the UUSOP SSHP chapter will be placed on showcase as a model and inspiration to other schools.

This honor is based on the Share & Reapply handout submitted for the 2013 Midyear Clinical Meeting. This handout detailed the professional development project done by our SSHP chapter this past fall. The focus of the project was to spread antibiotic awareness through a series of patient outreach projects including an appearance by the SSHP chapter president, Meghan Garret, on the news program Jackson 24/7.
