Department of Art

Created in His Image. Creating for His glory.

Ranked #1 among Christian universities for visual arts, Union’s Department of Art is where aspiring artists discover that their creative gifts and their faith were never meant to be separated — and that together, they make each other better.

Ethos

Where Faith and Creativity Unite

At Union, we believe your creativity is not separate from your faith — it flows from it. Your art is how you know Him, how you serve others, and how you communicate the beauty of creation through your art. The Department of Art at Union exists to give every student the tools, the space, and the community to pursue that calling with everything they have. From your first day on campus, you will be surrounded by believers who make things — people who take both their faith and their craft personally, and who will push you to do the same.

Accreditation

Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) since 2001.
