School of Social Work

Social work is about helping people - children, families, older adults and entire communities. It involves building on strengths and empowering people to overcome adversity. Social work reaches out to those in need, seeking to fulfill Christ's words, "love your neighbor as yourself." (Mk 12:31)

Programs of Study

The School of Social Work educates and equips competent, compassionate, and effective social workers to be transformative leaders who enhance human well-being and promote social justice.

Our Faculty

Union's social work faculty are experienced practitioners and dedicated educators who take both their discipline and their students personally.
