Klemata the greek word for "branches" in John 15 is a women's ministry that trains undergraduate female students at
Union University in the discipline of Bible study as the foundation for leading women to love God with their heart, soul, and mind.
Individual Bible Study: Students learn the discipline of personal Bible Study through the pertinent studies that will be reinforced through small group discussions and large group teaching.
Small Groups: Upper classmen facilitate Bible study in a small group of four to five students for discipleship and accountability. Students will learn to discuss, ask question, and talk about what they are reading through personal Bible study.
From Small Group Leader, Katie Watson
"Being involved in Klemata as a small group leader has challenged me to be faithful to study the Scripture purposefully and in depth, and to watch my life and doctrine closely. During small groups I have been blessed through the faithfulness of the girls to pray for and hold each other accountable; their excitement for God's Word is such an encouragement!"
Large Group: Women meet four times a semester for corporate worship and Biblical teaching based on what we are reading personally and in our small groups.
From Klemata Leadership Team, Tsega Temtem:
"For me, Klemata nurtures the desire to dig into the Word of God and develop a hunger to know Him more. I love the fellowship and accountability that small groups provide and the discipline they foster to stay rooted in Scripture."
