Klemata
Klemata is a women's ministry program that trains undergraduate female students at Union University in the discipline of Bible study as the foundation for leading women to love God with their heart, soul, and mind.
- Individual Bible Study: Students are trained in the discipline of personal Bible Study through the weekly personal study of Scripture that will be reinforced through small group discussions and large group teaching.
- Small Groups: Upperclassmen facilitate discussion of the Bible Study in a weekly small group of four to five students for discipleship and accountability. Students will learn to examine Scripture carefully, ask questions and discuss what they are learning from their personal study.
- Large Group: All female students are welcome to meet four times a semester for corporate worship and Biblical teaching based on the personal and small group study.

Klemata was such a rich blessing to me this year. From it, I learned how to dig deeper into God's Word and really examine what each verse means. But even more so, I think that Klemata gave me a better picture of what a gift we have been given in Christ and His Word. The women in my group (students from different social groups, different backgrounds, and different stages in their walk) studied and discussed the Word, shared our thoughts and our questions, encouraged one another and prayed together. What a blessing it is when the Body gathers and learns from His Word together!

Through Klemata, I have been equipped to study the Word of God in a step-by-step process that yields the beautiful benefit of knowing God more. And this is the aim: for women to love the Lord their God with all their heart, mind, strength, and soul. As I have studied specific passages of God's Word, my eyes are opened to how this passage fits within the entire story of the gospel. As Tim Keller said in The Centrality of the Gospel, "The Christian life is a process of renewing every dimension of our life --spiritual, psychological, corporate, social-- by thinking, hoping, and living out the 'lines' or ramifications of the gospel." This is precisely what Klemata has helped me set my focus on when studying the Word of God.
