Blogging Within a Professional Network
Anna C. Clifford, Ed.D., Associate Professor of Education
November 1, 2009 - Educational blogs are more popular than ever! They can be informative and support a network of practitioners and experts in the field. Dr. Anna Clifford participated as a guest bloggers in two different professional blogs which focused on teacher education. The blog posts were entitled “1 Thing Student Teachers Should Know” (http://clifmims.com) and “Grab the Red Stick!” (http://www.viral-notebook.com). Preservice teachers enrolled in the Instructional Technology in the Classroom are encouraged to read and participate in the blogs, collaborating with both teacher educators and preservice teachers, extending beyond the Union community. The collaborations have proven to generate a dynamic of reflection and connection to the teaching-learning environment. (Fall, 2009)
