Abstract
All too often, we are Christians until the point of suffering. While it may be easy for us to share our faith with fellow Christians, we often shy away from sharing with our neighbors, classmates, or co-workers for fear of possible ridicule or rejection.
Our view of suffering could be similar to that of the apostles. They rejoiced when they "had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name" (Acts 5:41). In like manner, we can be bold. While it is not always easy, we can rejoice the next time we are persecuted for being a Christian because God considers us "worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. (2009)
