November 30, 2010 - Dr. Eric D. Marvin discussed Using Presentation Software as a Student-centered Tool for Assessing Content-based Learning at the Thirty-Seventh Annual Conference of the National Middle School Association (NMSA). The NMSA conference was held in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 4-6, 2010. Session attendees learned how presentation software can be used as a student-centered tool for content-based assessment. Specific examples of completed projects were shown and basic skills were demonstrated to help participants see how easy it is to implement a student-centered, technology-based, content-focused method of alternative assessment.
