Department Graduates Four

 This past weekend, the Department graduated four majors.  We are proud of all that they accomplished and pray God's blessings on them as begin the next stage of their career. Our graduates are:

Kaleb Noblett, of Evansville, IN, will be attending the Brandeis School of Law and the University of Louisville on a full scholarship that covers his tuition and books. While at Union, Kaleb was President of the Union Pre-Law Society and a member of Union's championship debate team during his entire time at Union. 

Caraline Rickard, of Henderson, TN, graduated as a double major in political science and history. During her time at Union, she was President of College Democrats at Union, President of the Tennessee Federation of College Democrats, and a member of Chi Omega and Phi Alpha Theta (the history honor society). She will begin Vanderbilt Law School in the fall.

Danny Grimm, of Jackson, TN, will work, with his wife Lauren (a social work graduate) for a non-profit on community outreach. During his time at Union, Danny was a four year starter at shortstop for Union;s college baseball team.  He was also the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, a voluteer at RIFA providing food to the homeless, and a preschool teacher at Englewood Baptist Church.

Reid Benson, of Pinson, TN, will begin law school at the Nashville School of Law this fall. During his time at Union, Reid rose to become Speaker Pro-Tempore of the Student Government Senate and Vice President of his fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega. In addition, he worked for Habitat for HUmanity and in the homeless ministry of First United Methodist.  Never one to be idle, Reid also served as the campaign manager of the Debbie Matthews for State Senate campaign in 2010.
