Union University seeks a qualified individual for founding faculty position in the School of Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy program for Social, Administrative and Behavioral Sciences. This is a tenure-track faculty position presently open at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor.
Social, Administrative and Behavioral Sciences Faculty – The successful candidate will focus on practice-based teaching and research and will be responsible for development and delivery of courses. The translation of the candidate’s research to development, implementation and evaluation of pharmaceutical care practice; and to understanding the patient’s medication experience would be especially desirable. A pharmacy practice-based research network is being developed and will be a resource for the faculty member. The faculty member will be encouraged to pursue interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaborations with others inside the university, as well as nationally and internationally. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or a terminal doctoral degree with a focus in the social, administrative and behavioral sciences preferred. Particularly seeking candidate with Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration although other qualified applicants may apply.
