About

Zachery Halford, Pharm.D., BCOP, BCPPS, received his Pharm.D. degree from the University of Utah in 2008, and completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. Following post-doctoral residency, he returned to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, as a clinical pharmacist in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and then as the Team Leader and Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in the Immunocompromised Care Unit. Dr. Halford also served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Roseman University of Health Sciences. Dr. Halford joined Union University College of Pharmacy in 2016 as an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice. He maintains a practice site at the Kirkland Cancer Center as a clinical pharmacist specializing in oncologic and hematologic diseases. Dr. Halford is a member of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and the Pediatric Pharmacy Association (PPA). He also serves as the faculty advisor for Union’s student PPA organization. His interests include hematology, oncology, and pediatric pharmacotherapy.
