About

Lydia has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Memphis and is a Union University alumna with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing full licensure as a professional counselor. Lydia has experience working in residential treatment, outpatient counseling, and community agency settings.

Lydia is passionate about working with college-aged students and supporting them through the unique challenges and transitions that come with young adulthood and life in higher education. As a Union alumna, Lydia is excited to serve students in a community that played an important role in her own college experience.

Outside of the counseling room, Lydia enjoys spending time with her husband, Luke, and their dog, Daisy. They can regularly be found taking walks around campus together.
