SelfService allows you to access a variety of University services. The set of services available to you depends on the role(s) you have within the university. SelfService is part of the University’s central administrative/student system known as Ellucian Colleague.

• Students have access to mid-term and final grades, registration, FERPA, billing and financial aid, time entry, pay stubs, bank information, course catalog, graduation application, chapel balances (under User Options), and more.
• Faculty members have access to their advisee list, course rosters, student lookup, grade entry, FERPA, and more.
• Employees (faculty and staff members) have access to electronic pay checks, IRS W-2 setup/view, vacation/sick leave, time entry, and more.
• Budget managers have access to budget limits and year-to-date expenditure amounts.
• Prospective students can search for courses.

Many past portal services and resources are available through UU Mobile, described on this page. Some areas and services still currently use the portal.

MY. is the university’s official mobile app. Get it for free by searching “Union University” in the app or play store on your mobile device. Additionally, you can access the web-based version of MY. on your computer by visiting the website my.uu.edu at the link below.

Mobile Security Tips

Here are some tips to keep your mobile device secure. Please help us protect the privacy of all those associated with the university.

• Keep your device physically secure – don’t leave it out where someone else can pick it up
• Set up a pass code or lock code
• Avoid storing sensitive or personally identifiable information on your device
• Disable services you don’t use such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS
• Change your Bluetooth default password
• Download from and link to only trusted sources – don’t open attachments from unknown sources
• If available, consider adding anti-virus software
• Enable storage encryption
• Keep your firmware and application software updated
• If your device is lost, report it immediately
• Use find-my-device services or apps such as Find My Android Device or Apple’s Find My iPhone
• Enable ‘Remote Wipe’ services
• Remove all data from your device before disposing of it

Protect your own information as well as the University’s information. Having a long, strong password and keeping it private (never telling anyone) is the first step. If you are already enrolled in classes or hired as an employee, enter your contact information for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Secure the personal devices you use to access University systems. Use passwords or security codes .

Defend the privacy of your personally identifiable information. When filling out online/paper forms or talking to organizations, don’t share any more information about yourself than is absolutely required . You may be asked for your Social Security Number… but it may not be required.

You’re eligible to get up to 10 copies of Microsoft 365, completely free! This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. It’s available for up to five Windows PCs or Macs, plus up to five Android or Apple mobile devices.

Microsoft webapps and OneDrive

office.uu.edu provides access from any device to Microsoft’s webapps, including terabytes of free OneDrive cloud storage.

• You have access to these resources as long as you have an active UU email address.
• OneDrive is similar to Dropbox, iCloud, Google Drive, etc.
• Visit your app store. Microsoft OneDrive For Business is free for Android, iOS, Windows 10, and Mac OS X 10.14 or higher.
• If you’ll need access to specific files when you’re offline, you can tell OneDrive to keep a copy of those files on your device.
• Share files with any person and designate how/when they have access.
