2015-2016 Residents …
We are pleased to welcome our 2015-16 residents, Holly Wilkerson and Jason Greer, who started with us on July 1. Holly is a graduate of the Class of 2015 from Harding University College of Pharmacy in Searcy, AR. Jason comes to Union as a 2015 graduate of Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN. Both of these young pharmacists are eager to deepen their understanding of patient care in the community pharmacy setting, and to sharpen their patient care and pedagogy skills under the guidance of our gifted preceptors.
"I am so excited to begin this adventure as one of the community residents at Union University!
I am a Tennessee native, born and raised in Dyersburg, TN. I attended Harding University in Searcy, AR, earning a Bachelor of Science in
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and continuing to complete a Doctor of Pharmacy in May 2015. I have a strong passion for community
pharmacy, and hope to use the skills and knowledge obtained through this PGY1 experience to mature as a well-rounded community pharmacist,
able to provide innovative ideas to my future workplace and offer direct care to patients." Holly Wilkerson
"I am excited to become a part of the Union University PGY1 residency program! It is truly an honor to
become a part of this university's rich heritage while contributing to the future of this dynamic community residency. I proudly claim that I am
originally from East Tennessee where I was born and raised, but I happily moved to Nashville to complete my Pharm D. at the Lipscomb University
College of Pharmacy in 2015. My experiences up to this point have allowed me to cultivate a passion for this wonderful profession. I really enjoy
utilizing my clinical skills to help others prevent disease, educate patients on health, promotion, and give support or advice to those who are seeking it.
I never know where the future may take me but I'm always vigilant to walk a path that the Lord has called me upon. I know that he will lead me to great things.
Please feel free to contact me with any of your questions about the residency program. I enjoy meeting new people!" Jason Greer
