GO Trips

GO Trips are designed to help students take the next steps toward a life that connects fully with God’s global purpose by providing team-based opportunities to join ministry partners domestically and internationally in making Christ known. GO Trips, offered during spring break and May, provide opportunities to serve in ministry contexts such as church planting, campus outreach, orphan care, and community development.

2025-26 GO Trips

Spring Break Trips

CLARKSTON, GA | FEB 27-MAR 6

Partner with ministries in Clarkston, Georgia, “the most diverse square mile in America,” where there are more than fifty countries and 100 ethnic groups all residing within the same 1.4 square miles. Learn about different cultures by serving and engaging refugee communities through apartment outreach, after-school programs, prayer-walking, and service projects.

HONDURAS | FEB 27-MAR 7

Interact with youth and children at Orphanage Emmanuel through sports, water games, group activities, and daily “circle time.” Assist with on-going projects on the farm and around the orphanage campus. Serve and encourage the staff and volunteers at Orphanage Emmanuel.

ITALY | FEB 27-MAR 7

Walk the streets of Ancient Rome while supporting missionaries working to reach internationals living in the city. Assist Union alumni by distributing gospel materials, serving local East Asian churches, and engaging university students. Help a growing international church build relationships in their community.

SUDBURY, MA | FEB 27-MAR 7

Engage with local churches through corporate worship, campus ministry, urban ministry, and a two-day conference. Explore what it means to live on mission by connecting with local pastors, staff, and people from all over the world. Experience the intersection of God’s mission for the world and the local church. Opportunities to lead worship.

VANCOUVER | FEB 27-MAR 7

Assist Union alumni in evangelism efforts among Persians in the greater Vancouver area. Participate in English classes and food distribution programs. Prayer-walk and help church planters build relationships in the local community.

May Trips

FRANCE | MAY 5-14

Assist Union alumni in their ministry to a community of 300,000 people without an evangelical church. Partner with a local church plant to make inroads into the community and share the gospel. Prayer-walk in the “City of Light” where many have never heard the truth of the gospel.

KENYA | approx. MAY 4-15

Support the long-term strategy of IMB teams and local churches seeking to reach their communities. Engage college campuses and build relationships with university students across Nairobi. Serve the children and staff at local ministries serving at-risk children and youth.

PERU | MAY 4-14 

Partner with Joni and Friends ministry to host a respite retreat for families impacted by disability. Serve alongside local churches to assist local ministries in Lima. | EDGE students and traditional undergraduate students will be paired up for ministry.

SOUTH AFRICA | approx. MAY 11-22

Partner with Extreme Response International at Fish Hoek Dream Centre (FHDC) in Cape Town and visit nearby townships and local ministries. Learn about working with vulnerable, at-risk children. Lead education reinforcement programming, including homework help, tutoring, and special enrichment instruction.

THAILAND | MAY 6-18

Partner with a local Thai church to lead a youth worship night and a one-day Bible camp for kids. Build relationships and share the gospel with university students through sports ministry and a game night outreach. Prayer-walk and explore the city and culture of Chiang Mai.

  • International Mission Board (IMB) — opportunities to serve for 6-8 weeks in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas
  • Nehemiah Teams — 8-week summer opportunity to be strategically involved in cross-cultural missions among unreached people groups
