Bio:

Donna is a native of Beech Bluff, Tennessee. She graduated from Beech Bluff High School in 1966. Donna is a 1968 graduate of Union University with an Associate of Arts Degree in nursing. After working as a staff R.N. in medical-surgical nursing at Jackson Madison County General Hospital (JMCGH) in Jackson, Tennessee she attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in May 1973. After graduation she returned to JMCGH as a staff nurse and In-Service Education instructor. In 1975 Donna began her teaching career in nursing at Union University. In 1978 she received a Master of Science from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Donna is currently Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, Union University. Instruction includes work in both the BSN and BSNA programs. Her primary areas of interest include maternal-infant nursing, medical-surgical nursing and transcultural nursing.

She is married to Dennis Latham, Jr. and they have one son and two daughters. The family attends Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church where she has been pianist and Sunday School teacher for many years.
