| In 1975, Union University moved from its historic downtown
campus to a beautiful and expansive setting in north Jackson.
Today the wisdom of that move becomes ever clearer, as Union
stands in the strategic center of the city and region’s growth
corridor.
What is needed is an enhanced campus that will match the
quality of the university’s faculty and students – a campus
that serves as a landmark for the region and will provide
adequate facilities for Union’s growing student population and
expanding academic programs.
The Campus Master Plan includes goals to transform the
university’s physical setting and facilities over the next 15
years. Union needs financial support to proceed with the first
phase of that master plan, which includes the development of a
new campus infrastructure and three critical new facilities,
Jennings Hall, the science building, and the
athletic/convocation center.
While the appearance of the new structures is reminiscent
of the traditional Union campus of the past – with its
multiple buildings and Georgian architecture, the “Building a
Future” campaign focuses on our present, urgent needs as a
growing university. We invite you to visit the campus for
yourself and witness the excitement going on as Union builds
for the future.

"State-of-the-art
facilities are crucial for Union's campus because we must
prepare our students for the increasing number of careers
which demand technological expertise."
Gary Taylor
Chairman of the Board of Trustees
"As
Union continues to grow, I am excited, not just for the
sake of reputation, but so students can continue to attend
Union for years to come and experience the same positive
impact that Union had on my life."
Steven Maroney,
