Student File Storage

Very soon after you enroll in your first course at Union, an e-mail address is automatically created based on your name. This is your account name followed by @my.uu.edu. It is considered an official means of university communication. Learn more about your Union student e-mail account.

For students enrolled before March 2013, your e-mail address also provides you with access to secure web-based file storage. Files you store there can be accessed from anywhere you have internet service. Your www.skydrive.com file storage is provided through Microsoft's Office365 services.

If you were not provided a SkyDrive account when you first enrolled at Union, you can sign up for an account at www.skydrive.com

There are at least two ways you can access your SkyDrive file storage:

• If you are using Microsoft Office for Window, you may be able to select File, Save&Send, SaveToWeb. In Office for Mac, you can select File, Share, SaveToSkydrive.
• To upload, download, open, or manage files you can go directly to your file storage at www.skydrive.com

Union respects your privacy and will never access your accounts, except in judicial matters or as requested by university administration.
