New Database for Social Work Research Social Work Abtracts is now available online. This is the premier database for research in social work and related disciplines. Social Work Abstracts contains 74,000+ records from over 500 journals spanning 1977 to the present. Subject areas include social work theory and practice, areas of service, social issues, and social problems. Practitioners and researchers in areas such as social sciences, gerontology, welfare, public health, criminology, and education as well as all areas of human services, will benefit from using this database. To access Social Work Abstracts, click on the "Databases" tab above and find it under "Citation only."
