The city of Jackson hosts a multitude of health care facilities and working professionals that offer a foundation for active, experiential learning. Athletic Training Education today is a diverse experience in multiple settings of allied health care with exposure to professionals that practice the multiple components of what we call sports medicine. Union University's athletic training students must spend time in clinical rotations that are specific to each domain in the 4th edition NATA Educational Competencies.
