Ed.D. Faculty Dinner Allows Graduate Faculty to Put the Pieces Together
September 19, 2002 - On August 20, members of the graduate faculty attended a dinner to prepare for the beginning of the Doctor of Education degree program. The dinner provided participants with the opportunity to meet and evaluate the current graduate programs. Additionally, the seventeen faculty members in attendance held planning sessions for the new Ed.D. degree program.
Dr. Tom Rosebrough, Dean of the School of Education and Human Studies & Professor of Education, addressed the graduate faculty. In his message he encouraged those present to take the opportunity to evaluate the academic programs by looking at the past, considering the present, and setting goals for the future. He encouraged the participants to consider the challenges posed by national educational initiatives, as well as the goals of Union University’s core values of being excellence-driven, people-focused, Christ-centered, and future directed.

Graduate faculty work together to assemble a puzzle with evaluations of the graduate programs.
