Fewest Traffic Lights (most direct route)
Take I-40W to Memphis. Upon entry into Memphis area look for I-240 (you will begin to see signs around exits 12-14) because the exit for I-240 is the exit to the right after exit 12.
Take I-240 to Bill Morris Parkway (it is also known as Nonconnah), you will pass Walnut Grove and Poplar before you see the exit for Bill Morris Parkway. The exit will be in the right lane and you can only get off going one direction.
Take Bill Morris Parkway to Winchester Road exit. Get off on Winchester Road and turn Left (it will be a wide left turn under the overpass).
Take Winchester Road to Hacks Cross Road. Turn left on Hacks Cross Road (you will see a sign that says Fed Ex World Headquarters on the left side diagonal to the light).
Take Hacks Cross Road through a light, subdivision, and turn left on CD Smith. You will see the Germantown Campus on the left. If you cross the Railroad Tracks, you have gone too far.
Most Traffic Lights
Take I-40W to Memphis. Get off on Germantown Parkway, exit 16 and turn left.
Take Germantown Parkway through many stoplights, under Walnut Grove, and cross Poplar Avenue. Once you cross Poplar Avenue you will see the Commissary, older looking shops/businesses, and a very large church. Turn left onto Poplar Pike.
On Poplar Pike you will cross the railroad tracks, pass Germantown High School, and then you will see Hacks Cross Road. Turn right on Hacks Cross Road then take an immediate right onto CD Smith. You will see the Germantown Campus on the right.
Not a lot of lights, but two lane winding road
Take I-40W to exit 20 Canada Road. Turn left on Canada Road.
Take Canada road through stop signs, across Hwy 64 (Canada Road turns into Houston Levee Road), across Macon Road (there is a Kroger on the left), and through a few more stop lights. Turn Right onto Poplar Avenue.
Take Poplar Avenue about ¾-1 mile and turn Left onto Poplar Pike (you will see a sign on the left that is a decorative sign saying Germantown City Limits or Welcome to Germantown. There is also a garden/nursery business right after the left turn-once you turn onto Poplar Pike it's on the right).
Take Poplar Pike through two lights and subdivisions. Turn left onto Hacks Cross Road and then take an immediate right onto CD Smith. You will see the Germantown Campus on the right. If you get to Germantown High School you have gone too far.
